Representative Holt's Message

Aloha mai kākou,

As the end of the 2017 legislative session approaches, I am very thankful for all my fellow legislators, staff members, community leaders and constituents who have collaborated with me to help make our community a better place.  As your Representative it is my job to have open communication with our community members to find out what issues are important and how to better serve our district.  Whether it is through our weekly e-newsletters, attending neighborhood board meetings, or holding community forums, I understand the importance of including our community members in all that we do.

When I think of my constituents and my House vice-chairmanship of Labor and Public Employment Committee and as a member on the House Finance and Economic Development and Business Committee I know people want answers…they expect results.  I also recognize that there are still mountains to move and I cannot do it alone.  I need the help of my fellow colleagues, constituents and many organizations to help me to continue this work.

To keep you more informed during the interim, we will be sending monthly e-newsletters out to our community.  This will be the second to the last e-weekly newsletter before our session ends next week Thursday, May 4, 2017.

Watch for my end of session newsletter next month in your mailbox!
