1. Untouchable

I'm excited to be part of a global ensemble of plays from the US, UK, and India by the Same Boat Theater Collective.

WHAT: EarthQuake - Play Festival (English)
WHEN: Oct. 25, 2020 @ 7 PM PT
WHERE: On your screen
TICKETS: https://tickets.playground-sf.org/TheatreManager/1/tmEvent/tmEvent244.html

The short play that I'm acting in is called Untouchable and is written by the Sahitya Akademi Award winner, Mahesh Dattani.

It's a very interesting play set in 2033. By then, the pandemic has had three major waves, and the society is divided into clusters and bubbles. In such times, two gay men from different strata of life decide to meet for an encounter.

2. Big Baat Cheet Room With Tarek Fatah

Tarek Fatah is a renowned author and journalist known for being outspoken about his views regarding radical Islam. I'll be discussing the recent beheading of the teacher in France as well as his views on the US Elections. You can ask him questions directly via chat during the live session - Oct. 22nd, Thursday at 4 PM PT.

3. Happy Navratri

Navratri (the literal translation is Nine Nights) is a 9-day festival that celebrates Goddess Durga and her different avatars. This festival honors the divine Goddess Durga who defeated the demon king Mahishasura in a battle.

Here's a Sanskrit hymn praising Goddess Durga -

Sending lots of good wishes your way this Navratri. Jai Mata Di!
"When we change, the world changes. The key to all change is in our inner transformation—a change of our hearts and minds. This is human revolution. We all have the power to change. When we realize this truth, we can bring forth that power anywhere, anytime, and in any situation."
