1. BABRU - Now Streaming on AMAZON PRIME

My first Kannada feature film, BABRU, was released worldwide on Dec 6, 2019. We were happy that it got some really good reviews from the audience. Not just that, most major stars of KFI (Kannada Film Industry) endorsed it as well. For me, in addition to it being a big milestone, it was a time to travel to Bangalore, indulge in dose, idli, filter coffee, meet amazing people, learn some Kannada and watch myself on the big screen as we hopped from theater to theater where BABRU was playing.

For many of you, who could not make it to the theaters during its 2-week run, the good news is that it's now available on Amazon Prime.

In these times of quarantine and chill, here's one movie that will give you a tour of the west coast of the USA from the comforts of your couch. Search for BABRU on Amazon Prime and add it to your watchlist. And yes, the movie does have subtitles, in case you were wondering.
Two requests:
1. Watch the movie on a big screen TV with good sound.
2. After you've seen the movie, I'd love to hear your feedback. You can either message me or leave a review on Amazon and IMDb.

2. Get in the Mood

To get you in the mood for BABRU, here's a music video of one of the songs, Kaalada Kadalali, that was released earlier today.
And a still from the making of the movie so that you can see how a scene looks in real life vs. in the movie. 🙂

3. Radio + Facebook Live

During the staycation (or shelter-in-place or lockdown - whatever you want to call it), our radio station is also taking precautions in reducing human contact. My radio shows that are being aired are pre-recorded, but I still do a live stream on Facebook from my place. So, join me every Thursday 6-8 PM PT.
And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently...
