He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” 1 John 4:8

“Help, Father!” How many hundreds and possibly thousands of times have I cried out those very words? I can’t even begin to imagine. Sometimes those are the only words that say what I’m trying to say - with of course, His Spirit making intercession “with groanings too deep to be uttered.”

But how wonderful is that?! Knowing that Father even provided a way for us to pray when we don’t know what or how to pray. He didn’t just give us life…and salvation…He made a way to pray for us when we don’t have the words to match the passion inside of us to pour out our hearts, our longings, our needs… He gave us EVERYTHING, and He’s still giving to us today.

For almost three years now, Father has been telling us through the messages He’s given through me that we need to get our houses in order and that we need to prepare. He was speaking spiritually, yes. That is the most important preparation we could possibly make. But He also said to prepare our homes. And He started me on this journey when He said, “Draw Down” repeatedly one day in 2019.

After hearing Him say it several times that particular day, I finally asked Him what that meant. He said to look it up, so I did. To ‘draw down’ means to intentionally deplete resources. If you are one who has been watching what’s been happening around the world and not just in your own country, you already know that these ‘intentional depletions’ are occurring. Praise God that you have been hearing and receiving/believing His warning voice!

And if you are not watching but are still believing that this sort of talk is all “Doom and Gloom,” then I pray that you will do a bit of investigating. If you do, I believe you will be shocked at what has been happening everywhere. I believe we have very little time to finish our preparations before things become extremely difficult and even more people world-wide are scrambling just to be able to survive. I’m not date-setting anything. I’m just believing my Father and doing the best I can to prepare - spiritually and physically - for the days ahead. We have a very bumpy ride in store, Family. Please be as ready as you can!

For some of us, preparing our homes hasn’t been possible to the degree that we would like to prepare them. For others, preparations have been ongoing and those preparations will be blessings to those people Father sends. (I encourage you to pray for wisdom and discernment about who you are to allow into your homes from now on. Father sends people, yes. So does the enemy - to rob, kill, and destroy what God intends for those He wants you to help, including for you.)

For some, even the thought of trying to prepare has been overwhelming, as so many have no resources to be able to do much, if anything. To those in these circumstances, Father wants you to trust Him. Do what He asks you to do, then trust Him for the rest. He has plans and provision and He is not at all shaken by your circumstances, so don’t you be, either!

We are in so many different ‘camps’ so to speak, when it comes to preparation. But the great news is that our Father knows it all. Just as He made provision for us to be able to pray when we have no idea where to even begin, He has provision for those who want to prepare their physical houses but cannot.

And for those who do not believe or cannot accept His warning voice, we want you to know that we are praying for you! Time is running out and you may still be able to get some things done, but truly, please do not delay any longer!

My heart breaks for those who will not prepare physically and have the means to do so. Father has shown me the day will come when those who could have done something but didn’t - whether because they didn’t believe hard times were coming, or because they just expected to be taken care of by others - would suffer tremendously, knowing they could have helped others had they heeded the warnings. There will be a great deal of remorse, guilt, and shame at the awareness that their disobedience will cause others to suffer needlessly when that wasn’t Father’s plan.

There will also be those who will turn from Him in that ‘camp’ because they not only didn’t prepare their homes with the resources they had to do so, but also because their lack of spiritual preparation created hardness of heart toward Him and they will be angry that He didn’t help them. In other words (as if I needed MORE other words), they will feel betrayed by God. What they won’t realize is that He isn’t the One doing the betraying. Our refusal to obey His instructions means that WE are the ones betraying Him by not obeying Him!

Wow, Family. I had no idea this was going to be the topic of my article to you this month, and I know I’ll be doing a video about this very subject in the next day or so. For now, though, my encouragement to ALL of us (myself included) is that even as the world is drawing down, we must continue to draw as far down out of the world and its ways, and draw as close to Father as we possibly can - that we lean in harder to hear His voice and obey what He has told us - that we trust Him in all things to know what His plans are for the future - that we remember that He is our great Provider, our Source of Strength, our Faithful Father, and the very ONE who loved us enough to warn us that this time was coming. And also, that we remember that - when we have no words - we have One Who ‘makes intercession’ with those groanings that are too deep to be uttered.

Sometimes, “Help, Lord” is the best prayer of all.

Love you, Family. We’re praying for you daily and Chuck will be back next month with his article. For now though, we’re just going to include his ‘Anecdotes’ article from May. Seems pretty appropriate to me!

Until next time, please keep us in your prayers, too! And thank you so much to all of you who have so graciously helped us financially as well. Your help is so valuable and deeply appreciated. We cherish all of Father’s family here in ‘This Little Corner’ of His vineyard! And may we all continue to abide “In The Vine”. We are after all, the branches!

The greatest sacrifice was Jesus dying on the cross.

The greatest gift is eternal life that our Father offers to all that believe in Him.

The Greatest Gift
Thank you, Lord, for the greatest gift
that I could ever hope to receive
You have promised eternal life
and all that we must do is believe
Thank you, Lord, for revealing things
that I never quite understood before
You have opened my eyes now I see
All the simple truth that lives in your Word

No longer will I thirst
‘cause I've got living water from within
When I need help to understand
The Spirit of Truth leads me by the hand
And He comforts me

Thank you, Lord, for reaching out
You took me from the dark
and you put me in your light

Thank you, Lord, for the greatest gift

You have promised me eternal life

Thank you, Lord

MESSAGES FROM OUR MINISTRY TEAM

“And whatever you do, do it heartily unto the Lord, and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23,24)

There was a monk who lived in a monastery in France 400 years ago. He was a humble cook, but today we can still read his writings in a little book called, "Practicing the Presence of God". Many years ago, I came across his writings and was impacted by the simplicity of what he was teaching and the glorious intimacy with God that he spoke of in his daily life. It was not the time he spent singing chants and hymns and public prayers in chapel that brought this communion with Him, it was his daily grind in the kitchen, peeling potatoes!

If we take a look at our own lives and the things that we have to do, many on a daily basis - simple things like preparing meals, washing dishes, cleaning - just doing the chores, and even the daily grind at the office, or wherever the workplace may be, even like my precious husband, applying gooey caulk to cracks, or painting unloved walls, replacing rotting, smelly floor-boards, crawling under a spider-infested house, getting hot and sweaty on a fiercely hot day way up on a ladder repairing fascia boards.....or, perhaps, getting covered in old, smelly motor oil in the mechanic's workshop...WHATEVER we face that we can and DO call "drudgery", if this is you, remember Brother Lawrence. He found the secret of worship. He found and APPLIED the secret of worshiping God in the simplest tasks he faced with unbroken monotony in the kitchen as he helped prepare meals for his brothers......He praised and worshiped God in the simplicity of peeling potatoes! He "did it heartily unto the Lord, and not to man...for he served the Lord Christ"!

Jesus said to the Woman at the Well,

"The hour is coming and now is, when the TRUE worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."(John 4:23-24)

We have made "worship" something we do at church - waving our arms in the air and singing repetitive songs that are meant to glorify God, but mostly glorify self. Our WHOLE LIVES, every moment of the day, can and should be looked at and given to God as our sacrifice of praise and worship

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."(1 Cor.10:31)

Whether we are peeling spuds for dinner, or scrubbing out the toilet, mowing the lawn, or cleaning out the gunked up chimney, taking out the trash, making beds or cleaning up after an untidy mob of children.....if we do everything as unto the Lord, our whole attitude towards what we are doing totally transforms into a song of praise and worship. It is a JOY to give EVERYTHING we do to the Lord, and watch Him bless the work of our hands.....AND our mouths if the words we speak are full of blessing, not cursing.(See Prov.18:21)

"And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:
'Praise the LORD, for His mercy endures forever,' Now when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against [their enemies] and they were defeated!"
(1 Chron.20:21-22)

Hallelujah! Oh, what a praise report. Let us worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness and watch how He responds to us. Let us use the mundane in our lives as instruments of worship and praise, and thanksgiving to Him who is our life, and behold the Lord's response to us. Let us make ALL that we do, say and think a song of praise and worship to Him who is Lord of all, King of kings, and O GLORY! - the Savior of our souls.

Make WORSHIP your life-style! Give God ALL the glory and praise, no matter WHAT it is. He will honor that and reward you. Be an overcomer for His glory and praise!

A SERVANT OF THE MOST HIGH GOD

A Servant of THE MOST HIGH GOD by Dave Petrunia

What a time we live in – it is amazing is it not? Oh, for sure it is! We are in a world that is drenched in ½ truths and lies. We are in a world that seems to have gone off the rails and is careening down a hill to certain disaster.

Who can you believe? Who can you trust? What is real and what is made up to catch your attention and get you to change your opinion and belief system to assimilate you into the system of the world and take you away from the life of Faith.

Okay, enough of that, as true as it may be, it should not cause you to fear and live in doubt – nope. Not you and not me – and why shouldn’t it, you ask? Well thanks for asking.

Let’s look at this from a different vantage point for a moment. Come with me to 2 Peter 1:1

Simon Peter, ok we know who is writing this – but who is he? Or better to ask what are his credentials?

· A servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ

If we can but unload just that statement ‘a servant’ – what does that imply and bring with it?

You must ask yourself, why did the Holy Ghost have Peter start his letter that way? He put the ‘title’ servant above his great apostleship… why?

Remember the Lord Jesus is the best teacher the world will ever have so there is something here for you if you will receive it.

· James 1:1 James a servant of God

· Jude 1:1 Jude the servant of Jesus

· Titus 1:1 Paul a servant of God

And of course, Matt 12:18 – the Father says of the Son, behold my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased.

Ok… so what’s your point you ask? The point I am attempting to make is this. We are the children of God if we have been born again and put into Christ, baptized into him it says ‘Emersed in Him’ – He is now our life. If we are children, the heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Rom 8:17 – is that not so? Yes, yes, it is so.

I hear someone say, “So what, that’s only when I die that I get that inheritance!!” Well yes and no, it’s all yours now - Right Now! Healing, Health, Provision, Peace, Joy, Love, Fellowship of the Father and the greatest of all the things that we could inherit is the HOLY GHOST himself.

Okay, here you go again, you didn’t answer my question about ‘what the deal is about being a servant?’

It is said of Jesus Phil 2:7 But He made himself of no reputation and took on Him the form of a servant!

Do you think the Holy Ghost is trying to tell you something that you might be missing in your life right now? And you say, what could that be Dave?

It is this… there is a place in Christ that is so special a place that you are so valued and honored that your life can become amazing. You will and come alive in a dark sinister world and it will have no control over “YOU” over your heart, your mind, your emotions. A place of REST and PEACE no matter what is going on around you or coming at you. That place is the place where you as an act of your will even though you are a Son of God or Daughter, you lay that aside that position in humble gratitude for all the Lord has done for you, and you say with these great men of faith – behold your servant Lord – I bow my knee. I submit to your Lordship over my life, and I am your servant!

You say, “What’s so great about that?”

Ok, let’s look at this.

First a servant is not his own, someone has purchased him!

Second, the master that owns you must feed, clothe, and protect what is his! He must provide all that you the servant needs to not just exist but have life and be fulfilled in that life.

In these days we live in and in the days to come, you do not want to have to carry the care of your life and the Father does not want you to, either. He wants to be your ‘everything in everything’.

· This is a MINDSET we are talking about here, a “Heart Attitude

James tells us that God resists that proud and gives grace to the humble. So, for example, every time we take Life into our own hands, we are living in pride, we don’t trust God… What do you mean by that?

Every time I worry, or fear – I am in Pride and cutting myself off from the promises, because I don’t trust him!

So, if I will allow myself to adopt the mindset and heart attitude of Jesus himself along with these great men of Faith. I myself will become a humble servant, humbling myself before the Father and saying “Your Will is my Will” “My Life, is Your Life” 2 Cor 5:15

I can acknowledge that I am my own problem, so I will submit willingly as your humble servant. Oh our beautiful Lord and Master, you taught us in Matt 6 - that we cannot serve two masters. Read that wonderful chapter especially Verse 25.

These promises are to those who are the “servants’ of the most High God – read down to verse 34!

Do you want Peace? Do you want Joy? Do you want Hope? Hope so strong that the threat of death cannot steal it! Joy so overwhelming that circumstances cannot touch it. Peace like Heaven itself flooding your soul!

Give up living for yourself and live in the promises of God. Every day become a servant of our Lord Jesus and His Father our Father. I could go on for hours with this… Jesus said unless a seed falls into the ground it abides alone, but if it be planted and die it brings forth much fruit.

Father, here we are – we are going to believe your WORD and receive the truth that our life is not our own, and we want to humble ourselves and become as servants to you. Teach us to walk even as He Jesus walked as your humble servant though he was your son, your desire was His pleasure. Father let that be our pleasure in pleasing you every day from now on, take us into the journey of Life you have planned for us. Thank you, Father in Jesus Name. Thank you, Father!

Hello family of God, what an amazing journey that we are honored to have and live for - TO KNOW THE KING, and to SEEK HIS FACE. I am forever grateful that the Holy Spirit never gives up on us, even when we have been foolish, even when we haven’t done what we know we should be doing, or when we act on our “own” and do things “My Way”.

The Father is constantly by His spirit leading us into greater truth of who HE IS…not who we sometimes think He is. We have all been taught many things as we have walked our journey of faith in Christ. There are some things we may have learned, that have not been helpful to building our relationship with the Lord and our heavenly Father.

I am asking the Lord to free us of all mindsets that keep us ‘stuck’ in the thoughts of doing good, rather than learning to abide and live in His amazing Love!

It is a daily submitting to His presence to understand and know the Father longs for us to walk with Him, to be present in His presence every day because of His great Love for us!

A Journal entry - April 14-2022

My heart feels your presence Lord… and I long for your presence Jesus that you by your Holy Spirit will walk closely with me.

Holy Spirit I want to be closer still… keep me from ‘religious’ acts… those things I do because ‘I’m supposed to’ or because It’s always been done this way. I want life, the one you speak of - that every day you by your spirit guide me - keep me Holy Spirit from falling into ‘religious acts’ but rather, may my heart always be fully alive and living for you!

The Father spoke this to my spirit…

Religiosity has always been man’s answer to coming to me… but my spirit knows that it is the heart seeking me that draws me, not the actions of man. So, when you are ‘doing prayer’ check your heart. Are you going through the motions? Are you seeking an experience? Are you fulfilling a need in you or just simply checking this off your list of what you need to do?

Remember I am a person, I’m not an abstract entity out in the universe that requires you to bow your knee and go through a ritual prayer time or reading time. I am a Person the Godhead who created you and deemed our relationship important enough that my Son should die that we would have communion, fellowship, relationship together.

Religion kills our friendship - it takes the life out of it and causes you to respond robotically- I didn’t create man to ‘have to’ be in relationship… I created children who once they are born again and choose me become Sons and Daughters, who want to be in relationship.

Always come to me as a Daughter, a Son - don’t allow the past mindsets of doing, keep you from just taking those moments to connect and speak to me. Don’t allow your busy lives to distract you and take you away from having those times to sit and just be with me.

Soaking in my presence is just that…. Stopping all that you are doing and waiting, listening, and allowing your heart to freely love me. Your mind and thoughts will want to wander… but keep them focused on being with me.

Psalms 27:4-5
One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

What a gift, what a journey of faith that we are given to grow in the knowledge of His Love and become more in Love with who He is so that what “we do” comes out of this amazing relationship of Loving and knowing HIM!

Please let us know if you need prayer. We are always praying for you, but if you have a specific prayer request please send it to Teresa, our Prayer Team Leader at Prayers@vickyandchuck.com, and she will get it out to the team. Be as specific or non-specific as you want to be. We will absolutely be praying.

Also, if you would like to join the Prayer Team, contact Teresa at that same email address and she will get in touch with you as soon as she can. She’s one busy gal right now! Just had a beautiful baby boy a couple of months ago and is now helping pack up the household for a move far out the state where they currently reside. I’m sure she would appreciate your prayers, too!

Here’s the email address to submit requests or to join the team: Prayers@VickyandChuck.com

There have been a number of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have messaged or emailed me regarding ways to connect with others who are interested in being part of an ‘Acts 1’ community. They feel called to be in an environment where others of like mind are in near proximity, for many reasons. Considering the conditions of the world today and especially considering that Father said we are to connect with others in His family, we want to make it possible for people to find each other!

There are followers of Yeshua/Jesus all around the world who are hungry to fellowship and live near other believers, but they are having a hard time making those connections. If you are interested in finding other believers who follow this ministry and may live in your area, please send an email to Kacy at vineyardconnections@outlook.com and she will send you info to get the process started. Also, please include your location. The more specific you are, the better the chances of finding someone near you.

We do NOT have a huge list of people looking into this right now, but even if only 2 families end up finding each other, that is a blessing. Also, please be prayerful about making any contact with someone you don’t already know. Just pray! Father will lead you!!!

We’re praying our way through this and want to find out if anyone in ‘This Little Corner of Father’s Vineyard’ wants to be involved. Thanks for being here! We love you all!!!
