Plans to visit Ghana and Uganda are coming together as the team eagerly anticipates this trip to visit our colleagues in Africa. To prepare for the campus visits, please be thinking of the material that you feel might make an interesting workshop and communicate it to the team. We are looking forward to some collaborative work sessions!
The PLC team is working to continue to improve the teaching and learning portions of the website. The goal is to make it as meaningful and practical for users as possible. If there is material that should be added, please share your thoughts and we will work on integrating it into the finalized website!

What Can a Learning Management System Do for You?
A learning management system is a web-based platform that allows instructors to write course materials like tests and quizzes, facilitate in-class discussions, track student submissions, and grade homework.
A Learning Management System allows an instructor to create what is called a "shell" for a course that is being taught. The "shell" can be very basic or complex depending upon the needs of the instructor or based upon the technical literacy of the student body.
In addition to providing structure and accessibility for students, learning management systems also benefit instructors by allowing for collaboration with new teachers, storing data about classes, and creating a virtual library for projects and educational videos.
One of the best parts of modern Learning Management Systems is that many of them are completely free!
