Welcome, Kamrie!
In case you missed it, we are so excited to welcome Kamrie Cadena, the new Tulare County CarePortal Regional Manager! Kamrie spent 7 years working for Tulare Child Welfare Services, and even used CarePortal as a caseworker. She will be your main point of contact and support for all things CarePortal in Tulare County. From training, to technology, to meeting requests, please reach out to Kamrie if you need anything! Kamrie can be reached at kamrie@reachinghighertc.com or 559-901-1491
Summer Point Person Check-Ins

There will be NO Zoom Check-Ins during June or July

Instead, we are going to be reaching out to each of you personally to set up a time to connect 1:1, in-person. We want to ensure each of you get to meet and connect with Kamrie as she takes over managing Tulare County and receive the unique and personalized support that your Church requires to use CarePortal successfully.

Stay tuned for the date of our next Community Gathering this fall!
Celebrating our Growing CarePortal Network!
Rise Church, Visalia
Rise met their FIRST CarePortal request by providing food and clothing to an Ivanhoe family! They also funded a Tulare based request to help a boy entering foster care get the clothing he needed.

Thank you to Nicole Nino, Director of Worship and Missions, for serving as the Church Point Person.
First & Grand Avenue UMC, Porterville
We are grateful to have two new churches working together in Porterville. Both First UMC and Grand Avenue UMC are led by Pastor Tom Buratovich. They have been able to meet several requests already, and have a wonderful clothing closet ministry!

Thank you to Ryan Ridenour, Director of Youth Ministries and Administrative Assistant, for serving as the Church Point Person.
Tulare Bethel Church
Recently, TBC rolled CarePortal out to their home groups. They met their FIRST CarePortal request last week by providing car seats to a mother working towards reunification with her 2 children!

Thank you to Rebekah Christiansen, Office Manager, for serving as the Church Point Person.
Payton Construction
Thank you to our newest Community Champion, Payton Construction! Community Champions fund CarePortal requests so a Connecting Church with a CarePortal Debit Card can go purchase the items and connect with the family in need. Thank you for giving so generously to mobilize the local church!
Agency Update!
We are so excited that our Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), which houses the Child Welfare Services division, has agreed to partner with CarePortal for the next 3 years! This is a testament to the generosity and support that our CWS workers have received from you, the Local Church. We are so grateful that our local government is willing and excited to formally partner with the faith community! Keep up the great work!
