SOS celebrates National Night Out in all three Tri-Cities!
We were so excited to attend National Night Out in not one, not two, but THREE of the cities we work with! We are thankful to Dover Police Department, Somersworth Police Department, and Rochester Police Department for including us in their National Night Out events! We love connecting with the community, increasing recovery supports, and providing harm reduction supplies in the tri-cities!
Welcome to the team, Mariah!
Mariah is a person in long term recovery and a mother to her one-year-old daughter, Nova, as well as her Dalmatian, Cleo. After spending years in the criminal justice system and drug court herself, Mariah found her way to SOS through volunteer work and discovered a passion for helping her peers. She completed CCAR Recovery Coach Academy and trainings and is working towards obtaining her CRSW. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and painting! We are so excited to have Mariah on our team with her invaluable lives experience! We know she is going to be an amazing advocate for the peers she works with both in the criminal justice system & in our centers!
