Book Group for Boys

The next  Boys' Book Group is planned for Sunday, March 15, during Coffee Hour. The boys will discuss C.S.Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe as well Prince Caspian

We're hoping to read and discuss literature that has not only stood the test of time but that would also appeal to this age group of boys. Please bring your classic book suggestion to the next  meeting so we can develop our reading schedule.  Please email to register.

Support local farmers this summer, and friend's of our parish (Fr. Dan & Alice's son!), by signing up for their awesome vegetable CSA.

Fr. Sean's Sermon for Lent I

Excerpt: We are incorporated into Christ and enjoy this same freedom, but we are still chained to our sins that we refuse to give up. In our own lives, obedience to God often requires force, and it requires force against ourselves, to work against ourselves so that we may give ourselves to God.

Read the rest & listen to sermon audio (uploaded Monday) on our website, click here.

Saints Bios

+ Perpetua & Felicity were martyred at Carthage on March 6, 203 along with three companions, Revocatus, Saturus, and Saturninus. After they were arrested, but before they were led away to prison they were all baptized. They all suffered in prison for their faith in Jesus Christ and finally put to death in the amphitheatre in Carthage.

+ Thomas Aquinas, a Dominican monk, is one of the Doctors of the Church. Fr. Glenn was ordained to the priesthood on the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas 29 years ago at St. Benedict’s Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42
