Please join us for Agape via Zoom Sunday evening at 8 p.m. Last Sunday we concluded the study of Titus and this week begin a new three-part series. This series will be led by Fr. Myles Hixson, rector of Holy Cross Anglican in Farragut, TN, on the Book of Revelation. Here's a breakdown of the class topics -- they sound great!
  • The first talk will be an introduction to eschatology, rebutting some of the pervasive misconceptions in the modern church.
  • The second lecture will be a broad introduction to the Book of Revelation, looking at its structure, outline, and purpose.
  • The final lecture will dive deeper into the themes and theology of Revelation, focusing on the themes of liturgy, new creation, martyrdom, Mary, judgement, and the critique of empire/nationalism.
The Fourth Angel sounds his trumpet, Apocalypse 8. Beatus Escorial, circa 950.
The Zoom login remains the same as the past Agape lectures on Titus! Easy peasy:
