Here are some KEY DATES for your diary!
Thursday 22nd November 2018

On Thursday the 22nd November 2018, we've got our quarterly 'Church Life' meeting starting at 7pm.

Core Leaders and Managing Trustees have lots to report on the journey we have been on over the over the last few months, and what we are looking forward to as we unpack short and long term Vision.

If you're a member of the King's Family Church, we'd encourage you to come.

And if you are involved in ministry of any kind, or serving on a team, we really need you to come.

Church Life is a great opportunity not only for you to be kept informed, but so that we can all stay connected with Vision, and consider how we do, connects with what other people do, as we look at the bigger picture together!

CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY

One hour BBC Documentary showing the impact of the local church airing
Friday 5th October 9pm.

Here at AOG we have been working with Christians Against Poverty for a number of years and are really proud to be a partner with them. At our national conference this year the BBC joined us and filmed CAP founder John Kirkby as he shared about their work for a documentary.

We are pleased to confirm that BBC2 will be airing the documentary called The Debt Saviours featuring Christians Against Poverty at 9pm on Friday 5 October. The programme focuses on how CAP and the UK Church are caring for the poor and rescuing people from debt across the UK.

"I’m so excited to see God glorified through this documentary. It powerfully demonstrates the positive impact of the Church on our communities, and the way that Jesus shines through Holly and Gareth’s stories (you’ll meet them soon) is just extraordinary." said CAP founder John Kirkby.

Please join us in praying for the documentary, praying that as many people as possible watch it and are impacted by it. Also join us in watching on Friday 5th October at 9pm.

Christmas Fair

On Saturday the 17th of November, we've got our annual Christmas Fair. Why not come and grab a cup of coffee and a cake, whilst also picking up a few bargains and potential stocking fillers!
Elaine Boon and Jane Hartley need donations of Christmas gift bags, toys, jigsaw puzzles or games, books or dvds (no videos please), crafts or craft ideas, winter clothing, bric-a-brac (good quality), unwanted toiletries or gifts.
They also need people to serve both on the day, and on the day before to set up. If you're able to help run a stall or set up the fair, or you have something to donate, please see Elaine or Jane
Our usual midweek events can also be found on our website. Simply go to www.kingsfamilychurch.com and click 'Calendar'.
