*Classes meet 3 days a week for 60 minutes
*Classes focus on strength, flexibility, movement, and balance

Congratulations to the eight participants (6 pictured) who recently completed the 8-week, A Matter of Balance program held onsite at AWI.

This formidable group ranged in age from 72 to 88 and made a firm commitment to learning how to reduce their fear and risk of falling!

NEW YOGA CLASS TIME ADDED!  Now offering 10:00 AM class on Thursdays starting January 4th!  If you have not yet tried our Gentle Yoga, now is the time to do it!  Start off the new year with a new practice in mindfulness and stress reduction, in a calming, restorative, and supportive environment with instructor Sarah Schaber, RN, E-RYT 200.

Last December, AWI was awarded a $4,000 grant from Senior Citizens Services to fund the "Savvy Seniors Cooking School".  AWI was one of only nine non-profit agencies funded this last quarter.

PICTURES FROM THE AWI HOLIDAY PARTY: DECEMBER 2017!  A great time was had by all: over 100 people gathered together to celebrate the season and our AWI community.  A night of food, fun, and festivities, along with a message from our founder, board, and executive director with future directions for AWI in 2018.  If you were unable to attend this event, keep an eye out for the next member reception coming in Spring 2018! 🌼 Thank you again to Libby B. for donating her time and photo talents to making this fun collage for the lounge!
