Mid - April 2018
Message From Principal

Dear Bateman Families and Friends,

Our annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction fundraiser will soon be here and we need your support!  Come Eat, Drink, and Be Bateman on May 10th at Michelle's Ballroom.  Please join the Bateman Boosters and our school community to celebrate our students and raise money for our wonderful school.  This is your big opportunity to support everything it means to #BeBateman! Tickets are available for purchase online via https://eatdrinkandbebateman.bpt.me. All donations directly benefit each and every one of our students.

Report Card Pick Up
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, April 18th from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm (with a break from 3:00-3:45 pm). We would like to achieve 100% family participation. Plan to take the time to meet with your child’s teacher(s) to discuss their academic and social and emotional progress, ask questions, and create a plan to end the school year strongly!  You will also have the opportunity to share your voice in school surveys and get involved with our parent committees.

My Voice, My School
Students in 4th - 8th grade have recently participated in a survey called My Voice, My School which is conducted by CPS and the University of Chicago Consortium. As a parent of our school, it is now your turn to share your views in a parent version that can either be completed online at home or in one of our computer labs on Report Card Pick-Up Day. This information is part of the 5 Essentials Survey that is reported on all CPS School Report Cards.

We look forward to seeing you soon and as always, Be Bateman!

All the best,
Georgia & Kate
