Think Ink Collection Box

As most of you are aware, six lucky young people were shortlisted from our District to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023.

To help them achieve their target, and to offset some carbon, I have arranged with a company called Think Inks to recycle your old ink cartridges, inkjet ones (www.think-ink.co.uk). There is a recycling box at 2nd Daventry Scout HQ.

We will get up to £5 for every cartridge that is recycled with all the monies divided equally between the participants.

Further information can be found at 25 World Scout Jamboree - UK Contingent | Scouts.

If anyone has any further queries please email desc@daventryscouts.co.uk.

Regards,

Daventry and District Scouts in the news

Ever wondered how to get your Scout Group in the local newspaper and news websites? Daventry and District is mainly covered by the Daventry Express, however, depending on where your Scout group is located, you may have the following newspapers covering your location as well.

The County Media team are always here to help in promoting good news stories to local news outlets. If you would like our support or if you have been successful in getting a news story into the local press please let us know by emailing media@northantsscouts.org.uk.

The Scouting website has a lot of resources that can also help. If you click on the link below, there is a lot of useful information to get you started.

Crick and West Haddon Scout Group are virtually hiking to Ukraine. As the area is covered by 2 papers, the leaders pitched to both and have successfully got a story in both the Northampton Chronicle and Echo and Daventry Express. They also got the article on NorthantsLive
