- LADIES PRAYER CIRCLE started a new session via Zoom on Jan 21. If you are interested in joining us at noon on Thursdays, please call or text Kathie Kordenbrock at 916-802-7721 or email kkordenbrock@gmail.com, so she can have a book ready for you and can send you a Zoom link.
- SAA SEEKING PRESCHOOL SUBSTITUTES: Teachers need a minimum of 6 or more completed Early Childhood Development Units and some experience with young children. Resumes can be sent to SAA's Preschool Director, Shari Thompson, at sthompson@sacaa.org and/or Principal Jakobsons at mjakobsons@sacaa.org.
- CHURCH BUSINESS MEETING: We will have a church Business meeting via Zoom on Feb 13th at 1:00pm. The two agenda items are: approving a church budget and deciding on a church name. The Zoom link will be included in next week's Newspoints.
- CHURCH MINISTRY TRAINING ONLINE - "The Shift" - Sunday, Jan. 31. Take advantage of this opportunity to receive training and inspiration if you volunteer at church or would like to (Elders, Deacons, Sabbath School Teachers, Children's Ministry, etc.). This training is partially sponsored by the N. California Conference to make it free for you! Find the link here: https://drjessewilson.com.
- ELDER TRAINING ON NCC YOUTUBE PAGE - Friday evening, Feb 26, PhD candidate, Greg Howell will give a presentation on Church history--something that all pastors and Adventist teachers have studied, but few elders have. We hope to give our elders something a little different and to add a little more depth to their ministry. Also, Sabbath afternoon, Feb 27, Dan Sterns (evangelism director for the Texas Conference) will speak about "The Elder's Most Important Job: Key Insights on Leadership and Resources for Small Group Ministry During a Pandemic."

- "LESS STRESS, MORE WORSHIP" - doing church online: Watch this valuable resource! It's one of the best, most user-friendly presentations. There are numerous practical takeaways on equipment, Zoom, options for the worship service, and more. You can find this excellent presentation on the NCC YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ9hiE3tYtw.
- BIBLE STUDY: Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. We are studying the book of Judges and the "roller coaster ride" of God's people, including the reasons why they separated themselves from Him from time to time. But when they cried out, God always sent a deliverer to His people. What does that mean for us today? Contact the McSherry's for information on how to join the Zoom Bible Study.
- VESPERS SQUAD - We are a community of young adults from all over the Greater Sacramento area that grow closer to God through achieving #squadgoals. Join our group chat so that you can be in the loop of weekly vespers, hikes, camping trips, and outreach. Download the app GroupMe and click this link to join: http://bit.ly/vespers-squad
- MONDAY (10 - 11am or 7 - 8pm) PHONE PRAYER, call (435) 777-2200, and use Code 2475855# - You can join the call for 5 minutes or the entire hour. If "sheltering in place" leaves you hungry for some fellowship, join us this Monday for our weekly prayer call.
- ORDERING FROM ADVENTIST BOOK CENTER: Anytime you order, except subscriptions, from AdventistBookCenter.com, give them our church code #73104. This 5 digit code must be entered for each purchase made through AdventistBookCenter.com for us to receive credit.
