The Conference sent word that with California's re-opening we can now follow the CDC's guidelines.

Here is what that means for our local church:

1. We are NOT to ask a person’s vaccination status
2. We are to post the CDC mask wearing guidance as attached here
3. There are no limits on capacity
4. There are no physical distancing requirements
5. There is no need for health screenings
6. There is no requirement for extra cleaning methods
7. There are no more restrictions on food except for what local health departments require

We thank you for all that you have done during these difficult times and now let's again enjoy spending time together without restriction.

A Message From Our Pastor

At our board meeting we talked about our downward financial trend due to Covid and ways to change that. One of the ways we voted on was to put the offering appeal after the sermon.

A number of years ago I heard a couple pastors mention this and how their offerings went up. We decided to try this at the last church I pastored and also found it to be true. I believe this is because of at least two reasons: 1. there are more people present (people even walk in at the beginning of the sermon sometimes) and 2. after people hear God's word, they're more interested in helping God's cause. We are looking for ways to support God's cause, not manipulate people. Also, we will not be giving an offering based on how good the service was, anymore than we're paying an entrance fee with the offering at the beginning, like it is now.

You may not prefer this and/or you may know someone who may not prefer this. I get it. It's not the norm, but please give it a chance and join us in praying and thinking of how to transition from the sermon to the offering appeal without killing the spiritual tone the sermon sets. We welcome your feedback to help us tailor the offering appeal. Thank you for your commitment to God and serving Him here at Roseville.

Blessings,
Pastor David
Prayer Request Corner

Our church members and items to pray about this week:

1.  As we look forward to summer vacations, camp meeting, family gatherings, etc. this is the time to make prayer for the evangelistic series coming in August our priority.  A 24hr prayer call is going to be scheduled, but we need not wait - now is our time to pray.

2.  Medical requests for prayer include Doris Sterling, Char Wheeler, Bonnie Applegate, Charlie Hampel, and Grace Muchatto.

3.  We are praying for small groups in homes organized and ready to begin as the meetings end.  We are looking at the first of September.  May God bless us with a wide variety of groups that meet the needs of all our members and guests God plans to bring.
