Loss of Beloved Member

Hedy Wharton, longtime Roseville church member, passed away Jan.19 from COVID. She had just turned 98. Her extended family had celebrated her Jan. 2 birthday with her on a Zoom call when she told stories from her childhood and wished everyone God’s presence and peace. Her battle with COVID was brief.
A Zoom Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 14, at 11 am. If you would like to attend, please email Bonnie Dwyer at, and she will send you the link for the call.
Prayer Request Corner
Our church members and items to pray about this week:
1.  Bob Rusche continues to struggle with his heart, and let’s remember Kathy Zeka’s son, Tim Barron and his cataract surgery, Kerri and her brother Tony and wife Deb, Heidi as she continues to care for Garrett, and Rosie’s family as they continue to face Covid challenges.

2.  The healing of our country and God’s people

3.  Spring Sanctuary Series. Adventists love hearing that this series is coming and non-Adventists, especially Christians, are intrigued.  Please consider starting a list of people you want to invite.  Creating a list will help focus our prayers and help prepare our own hearts for the revival we seek.
If you have a need or a prayer request for our Prayer Corner, please contact Lanni at our new number 435-777-2200 ID Code 2475855#

 Information and Upcoming Events

- Feb 6 - Pastor David Resendes
  Offering: Roseville Church Budget

- APOLOGIES:   Our Care & Compassion Group was inadvertantly left out of the 2020 Year in Review.  This group has been busy behind the scenes, even during the pandemic, sending beautiful bags filled with supplies, including a warm, cozy homemade blanket, that might be helpful for people going through cancer treatment . We are so thankful for Pam Ramsey, Shelley Wilson and their helpers.

- BETTE KNOTTS MEMORIAL:  There will be a memorial for Bette Knotts on February 21, at 1:00pm at the Rocklin Cemetery.

- ELDER TRAINING ON NCC YOUTUBE PAGE - Friday evening, Feb 26, PhD candidate, Greg Howell will give a presentation on Church history--something that all pastors and Adventist teachers have studied, but few elders have. We hope to give our elders something a little different and to add a little more depth to their ministry. Also, Sabbath afternoon, Feb 27, Dan Sterns (evangelism director for the Texas Conference) will speak about "The Elder's Most Important Job: Key Insights on Leadership and Resources for Small Group Ministry During a Pandemic."  9YDNk7un6Uh2PbfxRvQ.

- "LESS STRESS, MORE WORSHIP" - Doing church online: Watch this valuable resource! It's one of the best, most user-friendly presentations. There are numerous practical takeaways on equipment, Zoom, options for the worship service, and more. You can find this excellent presentation on the NCC YouTube channel:

- BIBLE STUDY: Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm.  We are studying the book of Judges and the "roller coaster ride" of God's people, including the reasons why they separated themselves from Him from time to time. Contact the McSherry's for information on how to join the Zoom Bible Study.

- VESPERS SQUAD - We are a community of young adults from all over the Greater Sacramento area that grow closer to God through achieving #squadgoals. Join our group chat so that you can be in the loop of weekly vespers, hikes, camping trips, and outreach. Download the app GroupMe and click this link to join:
