Laurie Hamilton, the returning band leader for Rideau Cadences, has identified a shortage of woodwind players among those registering for the winter session.  Specifically, there are openings for flute, clarinet, alto, tenor and bari sax players.  An additional trombone would also be welcome.  Rideau Cadences performs music at an intermediate/advanced level.

If you play one of these instruments and have already registered for a band that regularly has many of your instrument type, or for any other reason you would like to switch to Rideau Cadences, then please contact our administrator, Anna Tessier, at secretary.onhb@gmail.com and she will make the switch for you in our records.  If you would like to add Rideau Cadences to your other band choices, then register for Rideau Cadences on the registration page of the ONHB website and mail the $125 fee for an additional band to ONHB Treasurer, 745 Island Park Dr., Ottawa, ON K1Y 0B9.  Either way, please do it quickly as the session is starting.  If you'd like to chat with Laurie about this opportunity before you decide, she can be reached at lrthamilton@gmail.com

Whatever band or bands you decide to join, have an excellent winter session!
