Note for Snowbirds and others
This note is for you if you are not registered for any ONHB band for the winter session. When you register for an ONHB session, your name and email address is automatically added to our mass mailing list, which we use to send email blasts during the term. If you are not registered for a particular term, you are not on that list. That would be a good time for you to subscribe to our Friends and Family mailing list. By the way, one exception to the above concerns our Annual General Meeting - if you fall under the definition of “band participant member” for voting purposes (see the by-laws here), you will receive material related to the AGM even if you are not registered for the session in which the AGM falls.
We send far fewer email blasts to the Friends and Family mailing list than to the regular ONHB list (2 last term, compared to about 15 for the ONHB list), because it doesn’t get things like snow closures, AGM info, logistical details related to concerts and other things only of interest to current active band participants. It does get notices of things that people who have an interest in ONHB might like to know, like when registration opens, our term-end concerts, what’s happening with spring extension bands, etc.
If you want to keep in touch with the major ONHB events while you’re away, and especially if you want to know when to register for another term, it would be a good idea to sign up for the Friends and Family mailing list (click here
If you've already filled out the feedback form, thank you for your input.
The ONHB Team
If you haven't filled out the form yet, there's still time to let us know what you think. We'd really like to receive your feedback about this session, what you thought about the music you played, the clinics, band leaders, the concert, what you really liked and where we could improve.
Click here to fill out a short feedback form. Please fill out one form for each band in which you were registered. As we told you in the email of December 16, the survey will be available for you to use until December 30, 2018, but please complete it as soon as possible while the session and the concert are still fresh in your mind. Your individual responses will be confidential and only aggregate data will be provided to the board, band leaders and Advisory Committee.
