Disney on Ice Tickets
Ariana Bruno, who is a member of Alpine, is currently on tour with Disney on Ice. Her tour is coming to Denver Dec. 2-4. She is offering tickets at the cost of $20 to all of our club members. Holiday Exhibition, Potluck & Family Fun Skate
December 9, 2022, 5pm-9pm
at Apex Ice Arena
We are planning a Family Fun skate following the exhibition. DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP FOR THE EXHIBITION IS NOVEMBER 25th!! Music is due to ascmusic1969@gmail.com by Dec 2nd! Everyone (including spectators) is encouraged to wear their best Holiday Swag!
Ugly holiday sweaters, reindeer antlers, anything that represents your favorite holiday. Borscht Competition!!! There will also be a borscht competition. If you would like to be a judge, simply show up hungry and wear your stretchy pants!
We will randomly choose one skater each month to honor and award a $50 scholarship. All skaters who submit forms will have the opportunity to have their month of fame on the club website and here, in our newsletter. We can't wait to hear about you!
Alpine Skating Club funds the Alpine Cornerstone Scholarship to honor the dedicated volunteers who are the very cornerstone of the organization. For more than 50 years, Alpine has successfully supported its members by providing social events and competitions, training opportunities, exhibitions, test sessions, and much-needed encouragement and funding assistance. None of which would be possible without the help and support of dedicated volunteers. This scholarship is intended to recognize those who have given of their time to support other members by volunteering at the events and opportunities that Alpine provides for its membership. Therefore, this $250 scholarship is to be presented to an Alpine Skating Club member that has demonstrated:
-dedication and love for the sport of skating
-personal involvement in and support of Alpine Skating Club by actively volunteering at club-sponsored events, supporting other Alpine members and participating in club fundraising opportunities.

Congratulations to Allison Duan who competed at sectionals in Lansing, MI at the intermediate level. We are all very proud of Allison for making it this far and can't wait to see where her skating takes her next season.
Another congratulations to Beck Strommer! Beck won 1st place at sectionals in Lansing, MI. Good luck at nationals! We are so proud of you!
