Summer Performing Arts Conservatory

There is something truly magical when 70+ students have seven weeks of intensive, uninterrupted time to train as dancers and performing artists. Children, many of whom have never been on a professional stage, see the results of consistent training and leave the summer with a new-found confidence. If you missed our sold-out summer performance, Escape from Wonderland, please click here to watch the inspiring highlights. Because Summer PAC is completely FREE, we reach children who would not otherwise discover their talents and passions. We are grateful for our generous donors who make this program possible.

New Ballet Program at PS 17 in Queens

Nicole Kadar, an accomplished teaching artist, public school dance teacher, choreographer, and dancer has taught in Summer PAC for over five years. This year she is launching a very popular after school ballet class in PS 17 in Queens. She reports overwhelming demand from the community for this FREE opportunity. We are excited to extend our reach to more students by supporting our accomplished teaching artists in their home neighborhoods.

8th Year Anniversary Celebration with guest Lauren Lovette

We hope you joined us for a very special performance, hosted by principal ballerina and choreographer, Lauren Lovette. Lauren spoke from the heart about how free ballet training and community support changed the trajectory of her life. We are so grateful she took the time to meet our dancers and host the professional performers who contributed to our celebration of eight years of free ballet and performing arts training.

An Appeal for Your Support

As we quickly approach year-end and the holiday giving season, we ask for your support. Every donation creates the opportunity for a child to develop confidence and discover a new pathway to success. Dance and the performing arts not only bring beauty and inspiration to our world, they also foster the collaboration and creativity that enable individuals to work together for positive change.
Ballet and Beyond NYC is a NYC based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.
